Technological University of the Shannon (TUS)

Tipperary County Council

The Community & Economic Development Section of Tipperary County Council is involved in further developing and sustaining the wellbeing of our communities through economic development, enterprise development, community development, promoting social inclusion principles and further developing the cultural and recreational areas. We are committed to attracting and supporting dynamic companies and vibrant individuals to develop sustainable jobs and businesses in the county. Tipperary County Council aims to identify and support inward investment, enable the creation of further employment opportunities, support existing businesses and play its part in developing a stronger entrepreneurial culture.

Tipperary Local Enterprise Office

Located within the Community & Economic Development Department, the Local Enterprise Office (LEO) is an initiative of the Action Plan for Jobs and is committed to delivering an enhanced and more integrated support service for the micro and small business sector in Ireland. Local Enterprise Office Tipperary offers a range of complementary supports to potential entrepreneurs and existing businesses.

Thurles Chamber

Located in the heart of County Tipperary, Thurles town has a population of over 8,000, with approximately 96,000  people living in the catchment area within a one hour commuting distance. It is the principal town of mid-Tipperary and is within easy access of all major towns and cities. Thurles has a long had tradition as a vibrant market town serving an extensive hinterland and now has all the facilities and amenities one would expect of a modern commercial centre
